A few weeks ago I mentioned I would be continuously posting weekly assignments that I receive for a Marketing Principles and Practices class that I am taking at NYU. The goal of this week’s project was to choose a product/company to use for the final class project and analyze its marketing strategies.
For the assignment, I chose to analyze M&M and the company Masterfood USA. M&M usually attempts to appeal to a young audience. They use cute gimmicky commercials to draw in their consumers. I will be mainly focusing on M&M’s marketing in the US while briefly comparing it to its worldwide marketing.
